Hi, I'm Lowanda — the person behind every guide in this shop.
In 2018, I was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer at 41. No family history. No one in my life had been through it. My treatment was a lumpectomy first, then chemo, then radiation — and once that was done, that was it. No maintenance medication, no ongoing treatment. To this day, doctors don't know what caused it. I'm in remission, and I've made peace with not having an answer for "why me."
What I remember most from that time isn't the treatment. It's the panic of not having a single person to ask, "What actually happens next?" So I started searching for other survivors — for their stories before and after treatment, for anything that would tell me what the next 30 days would really look like instead of vague reassurance.
That search is where Lowfind Digital started.
I've spent 20+ years working inside healthcare — revenue cycle, medical billing, clinical operations, and health IT implementation — so I've already seen the system from the inside: the paperwork, the insurance calls, the way information falls through the cracks between appointments. When I became the one navigating it for myself, that experience didn't make it less overwhelming. It just meant I knew exactly which pieces needed a system — so I started building them.
I'm also a long-distance caregiver for my elderly, disabled parents. I don't live near them, so I manage what I can from here — I streamlined their bank logins and moved their bills to ACH so nothing gets missed just because I'm not in the room. It's a small thing, but it's the same instinct behind every guide in this shop: find the one piece of the chaos that can be made simple, and make it simple.
